Patrick gets "Ghost Busting with Para-Vision"
10.25.2001

Do you believe in ghosts?

You might after talking with Jeremy Johnson Ph.D., Jim Morelan Ph.D., and Michael Lynch Ph.D.. Of course, you might just think that they're three guys with high-tech toys.

In 1998, I started doing Halloween stories for the station, we'd go around and shoot pieces about historic areas homes that were supposedly haunted. Somehow, I came across the paths of a group called Para-Vision.

My job as a reporter is to be skeptical. I didn't believe a word the team from Para-Vision was telling me. A matter of fact I had told my camera person Theresa Pauli-Ojeda that we're out of here in 20 mins. Then after 3 hours of shooting I just could not believe the video that these guys gave me.

We came togather at the Mc Pike Mansion in Alton IL. to shoot some ghost, and when we were in the cellar of the house. I got the oddest chill up my spine.
To this day I have never had anything like this occur. It was like the sensation when you get a shiver.

Michael Lynch told me about electromagnetic fields that pass through a room and in these magnetic fields were "Ghosts". Well that was in 1999 and it seems like yesterday.

As a reporter I must remain objective, but I believe in them, and whatever they tell me when it comes to the other side.

During or last shoot at the Lemp Stables in Saint Louis they video taped several Ghost that we uses on the WB 11 News for Halloween 2001.

I think that Para-Vision is the best at video taping Ghost and respecting the afterlife. I just can't believe that these guys are that good but they are.
